can I take the spindle off the axle? Mine has worn and the wheel doesn`t turn true. Is it the same as the jeep front axle?

Hi,

Yes, it is the same profile as an MB / GPW front hub even a rear could do.

But replacing it with the little front hub stump is easier.

But NO, you can not take it of like a frond jeep hub.
It's like a massive / solid piece of steel plug welded to a piece of tube.

It is solid because after you remove the small round lid of the axle, like you do when you remove a half shaft out of a rear jeep axle, it is not hollow, it's solid.

Hi,

i have searched a little on the old internet but a repro replacement axle solo is not available
It isavailable in a kit with a whole trailer attached to it.

There are a lot of repro trailer parts https://mdjuan.com.ph/product-category/ ... ler-parts/ But no axle (or you have to ask your local MV spares vendor https://mdjuan.com.ph/

I think it is more easy to look for another axle and swap the whole thing
Or to cut of 1 hub and weld another to it.

WW2 Willys MBT trailers had a weld seam in the middle of the axle.
