pedestal

Post by jollyjeepers » Sat Oct 22, 2022 6:20 pm

I have this pedestal that my dad labeled for Mighty Mite. I suspect it might work on other vehicles? He sold his Mighty Mite and the new owner isn't interested. It does have the brackets you can see taped on the side.

Located in Somerset, PA but can take to Roanoke, VA if it's closer. I have two different pedestals for sale.

Beth, I believe this to e an M31 pedestal. The M31C has 3 support legs where the M31 does not. I believe, other than the 3 legs they are the same or very close.

Thanks for the clarification. I found two pedestals in parts from my late father's estate.

Yes, the one with the long gussets is an M25 mount for a half track.

Yes, I posted in another forum and found that to be the case. I have no need for the half-track one because my half-track is an M2 with a skate rail.

I plan to sell both pedestals.

Beth, not that it could not have happened but I've never seen a Mite with a machine gun pedistal.

I would agree. My dad wrote that on it. I couldn't see an aluminum body with a pedestal. I'm thinking it could be M38 or M-38A1?
