Steering gear

Post by M422-newbie » Fri Jul 22, 2022 9:55 am

I just bought a M422 off my uncle and he had broken it down for a full restoration. Everything came in 14 boxes and a powdercoated frame. He was very detail oriented with parts listed but due to a move some might be gone. I somehow I can't find the arm for the steering gear, stock number 2530-724-3197 anyone know where I might be able to find one? I'm also missing a seal for the central steering arm? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks, Jesse

I have seals for the steering gear pitman shaft if that’s what you need. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I did find one seal but I don't have one for the top and bottom. I have a o ring that would fit but not against buying another seal. Although without a steering arm with the 36 teeth, I'm not sure what I'm going to do since that is what attaches to the steering gear assembly. i had hope one of our auto parts stores could help but I've struck out so far.
