Tail light identification

Post by mytmight » Wed Mar 16, 2022 10:38 pm

Hello there, as I tore into the rear wiring I decided to replace the tail lights and ordered what I thought was the right replacements from Bensinger.(only received pass. side so far)
I think the manual shows 3 wire on drivers side and 2 wire on the passengers side, but mine are 3 wire on both sides.
The ones I removed were stamped 24V on the back, but I think they were modified as this Mite had a different engine and 12V lighting.
Any ideas what the old ones are?

Thanks in advance.

Someone may have put two service stop lights on it. The picture #2 shows the correct doors with service stop on the left and blackout stop on the right. I've seen service stops on both left and right for higher visibility.
