Farm fresh m422-a1
Hey guys. new here. just purchased a mite. serial #3758. Its complete minus a windshield. Looks like it needs a motor. This one is complete but is stuck. I didn't force it or try too once I realized it didn't move by hand. I Carefully took it apart yesterday and I see no chrome in the cylinders. How do I go about getting this thing running? new sleeves and pistons? everything else looks ok and unmolested. any advice would be appreciated.

Congrats and thanks for posting about your new Mighty Mite!
From your description, yes a full rebuild is in order. Depending on condition, cylinders can be Nikasil coated in lieu of replacing with NOS chrome ones. Searching the postings is your best bet for finding details about the Nikasil coating and other posters rebuild suggestions and parts suppliers.
When you can, please post a few pictures of your new to you Mighty Mite!

+1 on previous post
The place I contacted was in Wisconsin. I attached their information. The mite I am working on now does not need cylinder work. For the windshield there are a lot mites with the m38A1 windshield. Here is a good article.
