Radial Tires For The Mighty Mite - What Works!

Post by Radar4xfour » Sun Aug 02, 2020 5:49 am

Considering a different tire other than a non-directional for your Mighty Mite? Here is an alternative size that is a radial with a more aggressive tread pattern. These are Federal Couragia M/T load range D, the size is 205/80R16. The tires are mounted on stock rims, no tubes & 8oz of airsoft BB's per tire for balancing. The overall height of the stock ND tires is 28-1/2", the Federals measure a 1/4" more at 28-3/4". Thanks to MSPeters for the suggestion on the metric size! I have been running this tire for the last 2 years with no issues.

Might work well on the WW2 jeeps and trailers also! Would have to see how they clear the front springs on turns with stock combat wheels. Look like they would offer a smoother ride and better flotation and traction while off-roading. Better traction on the street, too.
