I'd call the Sam Werner Military Museum in Tracy City, TN and verify that this was legally sold to your friend. As I understand it, 103 and 106 were part of Sam Werners estate and there is an ongoing legal case concerning stolen property. Google will find it pretty easy. Better off safe than out money later.

I just purchased M422A1 with serial # 1753. Am unable to read the date of delivery. Any ideas what that date may be? Thanks

I've only seen one A1 with a DoD. Is there nothing stamped or is there a stamping that can't be read? Most A1s did not have one.

AM unable to read anything on the data plate except for the SN. You don't still happen to have the tool boxes you removed several years ago? Mine have been removed and I wish to replace them.

I only have the driver side which I'm hanging on to.

Just purchased #3087.
I used to own #2969, would love to know what happened to it.

Is there a master list available?

I also would love to have the master list of M422 owners. I emailed Ron months ago but received no response. Curious to know how many are out there and operational. Get asked that question a lot at shows.

You have the only list I know of right here in this thread. Ron is not a Mite guy although he has a few.

Over the years I've estimated there are maybe 1000 Mites of which maybe 300 are operable world wide.

I just recently purchased S/N 2509. I'd love to know the exact year and if there was a way what would be the hood marking (that is long gone.
