M422 Shutter control

Looking for a shutter control cable for my 1962 M422A1. Any information would be helpful.

Could never locate any. Both my rigs were missing the original cables.

I used M35 throttle cables, which are long enough. Used Roloc pads to grind & polish off the letters, then had an awards shop engrave ’shutter’. For the white letters, they recommended using ‘rub n buff’ and burnishing with a newspaper sprayed with WD40.

I have not given up, I just can’t seem to find it in all the Ramcharger and Dodge pick up project parts heaps! :lol:
