No upload of jpg or jpeg

I cannot get some reformatted photos to upload. They were reformatted from HELIC to jpeg to jpg to try to get them uploaded.

This is the message I get.

Unable to read the format of file: /home/surfacezero/surfacezero.com/g503/data/500/44GPW_66gto_1.jpg

I'm doing this from my home desktop.

Is blackdog still on this subject?

Hi, no idea what would cause it but the surface zero G503 site works fine. I'd suspect the culprit is in the file format conversion process. To get around it maybe try taking a screenshot of the image you want to post, paste it as a new image and then save as a .jpeg and upload it. Good luck

Try in .bmp which is the most simple format with tiff or convert it in .png which is a lossless format unlike jpg.

It's been working sporatic for me for a couple of days now. Rigth now I can't upload at all, a few days ago the thumbnails and links disappeared from an active thread and I had to re-upload them.

Oldish post but want to say I have used Surfacezero a number of times this past year for PNG and JPG files and it works fine.
