150 amp alternator

Post by Spec4Don » Sun Jun 12, 2022 7:37 pm

Just throwing this out there, looking for 150 amp alternator for a radio Jeep. Any help would be appreciated. It would be a PU 656.

When you say radio Jeep do you mean a Air Force TACP type with the MRC-107/108 pallet system or a couple of VRC-12 sets? Scott O&O

Isn't that the one with the water cooled regulator on the passenger fenderwell? And some massive wiring harness to feed it. I thought the 150 was for the spotlight and the 100 was for the radios.

I am going to be going through my stash of parts for sale soon, I am pretty sure I have a set of four belt pulleys in there for the 150/180 amp setups. Where you would ever find a matched set of four belts nowadays I have no idea.
