Hi Everyone,
I am in search of location/pricing for a complete NOS wiring harness for my M151A1.
Thanks in advance,

I hope you are sitting down! The only place that has them is Vintage wiring and they KNOW they are the only ones that have them. Last price I saw was around 1500.00!!!! You will never find a new original and even if you do it will probably be bad. The insulation they used in that era was garbage and it just dried out and flaked off no matter what. I have a half dozen harness' and some of them are off of almost new at the time vehicles but they are still falling apart and I will not use them. I am actually converting mine to a later A2 harness.

Rick - just curious: when you're completing your conversion of an A2 harness to fit in your A1 - could you please document all the changes you had to make? Or perhaps someone has already documented the process??
I'm restoring my A1 and having the same issue - I have two A1 harnesses (both front and rear). The connections are decent, but the insulation is wasted. I was thinking about re-taping the pieces that are messed-up but that's just trying to "polish a turd" in sophisticated science language.

Any wisdom you might have would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

I will be sure to do that. I got the new A2 harnesses in but I am in the process of clearing out a spot in my property for a prebuilt shed and I have quite a bit of clearing to do. So I have been tied up with that project trying to get it done before the shed arrives, which can be anytime between now and ten weeks. The 95 degree heat is a killer for me anymore, when I was in my 30's-40's it was not bad but pushing 70 and cutting down trees in this heat is tough. That wiring project is next on the list as soon as I am done with the clearing and I will take pics. There really is not a lot to it. Do you plan to keep the electric fuel pump?
