How did the petronix unit work out? How long did the installation take? Any better performance? How much did it cost? Thanks in advance.

The Pertronix MV-141A is pricy:$160.00. It fits the IAU housing without any modification. The ring magnet is snug fit, a little silicon grease helps to seat it. To remove the point assy base loosen the two retaining screws and slide the mounting clips back to release the base. Maybe 45 minutes from start to finish. The M-38 started right up and ran like a champ. Haven't driven it since installing the kit.
