M151 Jeep Made my Kaiser in 1964. Body made by Fruehauf Trailer Corporation. Very early semi-rare Vietnam jeep. This was one of the first 1,000 sold by the government to the public in running driving condition. Later years they were cut in half by the government and had no title. This jeep has a California title. A new NOS radiator, brand new rebuilt carburetor, new seat cushions, top. This being an early M151, it has a knob in front of the seat that you turn to adjust the seat. Being an early M151 it does not have jumper plug above the passenger fender. There are a few things different about this M151 than you usually see in the A1's & A2's. I backed it off the trailer running 9 months ago & it wouldn't idle. I had the carburetor rebuilt by an M151 carburetor specialist. Battery went dead from sitting. The water pump was dripping. Rust in floorboards. They make $700 kit to fix this. Same with back panel on jeep in trailer hitch area. Old metal has been removed. Brand new repro panel in box comes with the jeep. Extra back half of another M151 goes with it to repair the rusted area. Also have the spare tire & metal door frames that go with the canvas top. As I said, you are getting a project that I had just drove off the trailer & have not been able to finish. $6,000 Would consider partial trade for a WW2 jeep, unrestored. All items hanging on the jeep (canteens, bags, etc.) & the radio in the jeep do not go with the sale of the jeep. Pictures can be seen at this link:
