I think the one we finally came up with is a National 473455.

Hey Rod,
I guess we need to get a list compiled of the part numbers so that they are on one page,,,ready for printing.
I have 4 mules that I am going to line up and do all 4 at the same time. Not sure when I will start that project as it has to wait for the M-38 to be finally finished.
It's about time I got onto finishing the projects but other things got in the way.

Just as an update, we have been using two of the National #471765 seals for the transmission output shaft. These seals are $8.49 each ($16.98 for the pair). Bill Watson has the correct Chicago Rowhide seal for this application for $10.00. The C/R seal is a double-lip seal, so it only takes one. You can save $6.98 and have the correct FSN # seal.

A correction on the oil filter number. I was just at the auto supply and he informes me that the correct Wix number for the oil filter is 51514. The Wix number 33101 posted above is actually a fuel filter.

51514 comes up as a hydraulic oil filter, which is better than a fuel filter, I guess! Has anybody tried either of these filters to see if they actually fit the filter housing?
Bill Watson has the correct NOS oil filter for $5.50, and the WIX 51514 lists for $7.49 at O'Riliey's....guess I'd have to go with Bill's NOS filters.

Has anyone put anykind of true cross reference list together.... say in an excell format or??? Not the hoge podge numbers we have here and there. Something we could all add to or at least have the "author" of the document add to.

Had a little problem with the Wix 51514 oil filter. I have used this filter several times and apparently got lucky. It turns out that the filter is correct, however the gasket that comes with it is not. It is much wider and will not seat in the groove. Just was lucky until this last time when it let go during a deer hunting trip.

Anyone have a part number for the 2 needle roller bearings for the steering knuckle cover?

Thanks, Ed

Ed, I'm a little confused by your description. If you are talking about the tapered roller bearings for the king pins, try a Timkin A-2047 roller and a Koyo A-2126 race (two ea per steering knuckle). If you are talking about the needle bearings in the drop axle, try a Timkin B-1412 (three per drop axle housing)

I'm not too sure, I've never been around one but are these 2cyl or 4cyl part numbers. I've never worked with a 2cyl so I have no idea. If they are all the same, great.

The Chassis parts are the same, but the engine parts are 2-cylinder

I have a new part # for the list...the fuel pump is an airtex #1202 ..can be ordered at Kragen,O'reilly's and Schucks....BUT it is cheaper to get them from some of the MV parts guys....although their prices have gone up some...Saturn surplus and FLMV had about the best prices...BUT it's hard to beat Bill Watsons service!
