One 0f the small things that I do to make my life a little easier is to mark the location of the roll pin with a dot of white paint on the hub. Now, if the lifting eye gets turned, I'll know how to realign it to find the pin. No more turning the lifting eye and poking with a punch to find which hole has the pin in it!
Makes life easier.

Re: Makes life easier.
Chuck,
Glad to hear all is well on the home front (never met you bit feel like I know you from this forum)
What is the correct size of the axle hub roll pin? I got 9/64 by 1.5 in from McMaster (They didn't have 1.25 on so I planned on grinding it down) but there is no way this pin in getting in the hole. The Mcmaster pin is much thicker and heavier steel than the original, so is that the problem? Should I go down to 8/64" (1/8)
Thanks
