Anybody have an after market source for points and condenser ?

There are several suppliers for the Fairbanks Morse Magneto Kit Saturn Surplus is your best choice. The points and Gasket will work but the WX2433 condenser is slightly larger in diameter and the mounting flange holes are further apart than the VX2433 the original Mule or QX2433 used on some of the GenSet Engines. Neither the WX2433 or QX2433 has a water proof connector. Nearly impossible to find the original VX2433 condenser.

John Emery has a replacement that fits and the connection is like the original VX2433 with the Packard Connector.

I bought a standard auto condenser and soldered it into a VX2433 mounting flange and ran a shot wire thru the cap with a Packard connector it worked great but not original.

Ok thank you no spark condition and the mule needs to be ready for the up coming weekend.

If you have the magneto out pull the cap and disconnect the condenser impulse the mag if there is spark across the points then re-attach the condenser and make sure the cap is grounded to the mag then impulse the mag if no spark then the condenser is shorted.

Ok going to start from scratch read your post and Bill Watsons post for timing. I just brought it out of storage, it's
been sitting for some time.

ok points sanded cleaned and mag reinstalled. It is back to life ordered some parts for it today as well. Thanks for the help fellas.
