Quick tip - Magnetic Drain Plugs

Post by Chuck W. » Mon Jan 03, 2022 11:15 am

I may have posted this before, but I routinely replace the drop axle, transaxle and front differential drain plugs with magnetic plugs. They are 1/4"-14 pipe. Here's a source that I have been using, https://www.ebay.com/itm/184563319455?_ ... BM5I35mMRf
In my own mule, I replaced all plugs, drain and fill, with magnetic plugs. This lets me quickly check for metal.

Thank you for the tip Chuck! Next time I change fluids I’ll try and do that.
