AIR CLEANER DECAL
I just purchased one of the "Air Cleaner Decals" from EBAY, so just wondering if there is a particular orientation for the decal on the air cleaner? center mass or does it matter? Maybe somebody has a picture they can show. Thanks

Re: AIR CLEANER DECAL
I think there is instructions for it, which ends up being that you can see it on the air cleaner installed on mule

Re: AIR CLEANER DECAL
I have an original decal on one of my mules. Let me see if I can get a pic and maybe some dimensions for you.

Re: AIR CLEANER DECAL
This is the best I can come up with, it's the remains of the original air cleaner decal that is on Eeyore.

Re: AIR CLEANER DECAL
Attached is a picture of my air cleaner. Not sure is this is original or not, but as seen, the air cleaner decal is on the upper section of the air cleaner.
It is approximately 1/2" down from the top and about 1/2" from the intake tube. I believe this to be an original air cleaner, this is not a restored mule although the engine is a 2cyl in my 4cyl platform (M274)

Re: AIR CLEANER DECAL
Hard to tell, is the reproduction decal you purchased off of e-bay printed on silver foil as the original ones were? Yours looks like white paper.I just purchased one of the "Air Cleaner Decals" from EBAY, so just wondering if there is a particular orientation for the decal on the air cleaner? center mass or does it matter? Maybe somebody has a picture they can show. Thanks

Re: AIR CLEANER DECAL
No silver foil Chuck, looks like the decal is sandwiched in between a clear plastic material. advertised as "New Production". so I assume it's not original. Should do the trick as long as I can put it right side up.Chuck W. wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 5:28 pmHard to tell, is the reproduction decal you purchased off of e-bay printed on silver foil as the original ones were? Re: AIR CLEANER DECAL
This is my application of a reproduction silver foil decal installed on the canister and turned to the inside for protection.

The turning to the inside is a good idea, I'll have to look to see if I can do it in its present state
