MB/GPW REAR BOW ANGLE/LOCATION CHECK

Post by Ben Dover » Thu Aug 01, 2019 5:12 am

A simple way to check the rear bow angle and position is to get a straight edge long enough to rest on the rear panel and reach up to the rear bow. The rear bow should just touch the straight edge. This measurement is automatic on MB/GPW Jeeps with original body as the holes for the bow brackets were done at the factory. If the bow does not line up as above, check for bent bows.
