Thermal cover

Post by Soundgarden » Sun Dec 16, 2018 3:44 am

Hello, I am a modeler. I am looking for more photos informations of the thermal cover for Willys. I want to do something like that in the 1/35 scale model. To do this, I need more information and photo detail. Does any of you have any interesting photos in your collections?Image I thank Marcello Conti for this photo.

They are selling that kit reproduction in Jeep Sud Est (France). They have photos with a few details, here.
https://www.jeepsudest.com/boutique/40- ... p-complet/

What they mention on the website:
This kit is copied from the original model used by 44 Allied troops in the Ardennes and the Vosges.
It goes very easily, no drilling on the Jeep.
The hood cover slips in the cover sides, and the radiator mask is attached by pressure straps.
