Now that your MB/GPW is restored, you are better prepared to tackle a WC or CCKW.

The time is now, small parts, sheet metal, engines and cosmetics are not going to be more plentiful. There will be no "second coming of the CCKW".
If it were not for putting aside WWII parts 40-50+ years ago, I would not have a relatively complete CCKW today.

Joel, I agree. Should have worded differently to say if only there more available, regardless of condition. I'd love a WC next, but attempting to find one relatively close to where I live has been a challenge.

How to get them home is akin to sticker shock, being resigned that the stork does not deliver MV's is a factor.
I have never regretted the cost of dealing with the larger MV's and have always bought fresh surplus rather than those abandoned in the weeds.

Ah yes..….reminiscing about "the good old days"....back then I was earning $16.50 per shift at work. That's about two bucks an hour....before taxes.
Those were really the good old days, weren't they?
