Looks like Photobucket is back to letting us share our photos and all of mine are back.
I have done so much and taken so many photos I don't know where to start again.

Time to cut out the old pioneer section that rusted away.

I had to order front section here to cut out what I needed. It wasn't much.

More of the axe handle indentation.
Some of the floor section tacked in. I used the original floor and gas tank strap location. I fitted the gas tank strap before I cut out the old stuff to maintain the original location the best I could.
The tank fit well. Unfortunately I have a 42 and I do not think a large mouth tank is the right one for an April 42 GPW.

Most of the floor pan is tacked in and I was happy with the results. Lots of welding to follow though.
Now the removal of the rear floor plan.
Test fit time.

Wheel well repair. I'm the type of guy that I will replace what needs to be and not create more work than needed. The rest was is good shape and I did get this from JeepDraw and took it to work and made it at my shop. Not too bad of a fit from me and my friend at work who are mechanics.

Frame time. Rear crossmember was not in any shape to be repaired. I had a new one in the shed to replace it.
What's left of my bumperettes.

Frame at the frame shop to get straightened.
on the frame this is the only issue with it. it will be off about 1/16 to 3/32" in ride height. It won't affect how it drives or rides is what I was told.
It rained the night I brought this home. Not worried though I did clean it up. The front bumper bolts right in and the bolts for it drop right in. The front horns are straight look great compared to what they looked like before.

This little gem was real fun to get out. It was so rusted it would never be removed. Had to knock it in and drill out a hole just big enough to get it out.
Note the rusted captive nut and what is left of the bolt. Yeah that's not coming out.
Test fit of the battery tray. Turned out well.
Ignore the disaster work area in the background.

The part of the frame I never wanted to have to do. I was tapping it with a hammer and the sound was different in this area. I'm glad I cut it off. This is why. I was careful as to what I was to cut off so I marked the crap out of it as you can see.
Not really surprised for such an old frame.
I stopped here as I felt it was sufficient enough for the repair.
This is what I saw.

The repair wasn't hard just time consuming as I took my time welding the inner frame in.
.
This is what was under the spring shackle.
I think it turned out well.
