Where has the time gone?? Sadly not much was done on my jeep. Had issues with the repaired radiator leaking. The broken exhaust stud repair started leaking fluid. Couldn't for the life of me get the jeep to run at an idle so it sat in the back of the garage the last couple of years. Dealing with renovation of the new home, getting the canvas business going and fixing up and playing with my dad's GPW, I neglected my jeep. Well the GPW went down for a transmission rebuild and the wife was bummed we didn't have a jeep to run around in, I finally got back working on mine. Started with the radiator fluid leaks. Next tackled the idle issue and vacuum leaks. My intake manifold had a botched repair job. New intake and used the carb off the GPW. Sputtered to life and will idle with no choke! Beyond excited! Finally feel like I got over the biggest hurdle and can look forward to finishing this up!

Next, replace front drums. ImageImageImageImage

Wow! It has been a long time since I made any updates. The jeep is rodworthy as of this month. Got licensed classic vehicle with a Washington 1945 plate. She runs well but sadly developed a crack under the distributor so another project to tackle.

Will eventually try and fill in some of the gaps from the last few years. ImageImage
