THE MB FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH

Post by Joe Gopan » Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:24 am

The MB, and the other 40's-60's MV's in my stable are my Fountain of Youth and take me back to those days of Yesteryear when both MV and me were lean mean fighting machines. There is nothing like a MB/M-38A1/CCKW stroll down the main drag of the former DOW FIELD to make me feel young again and relive the pleasant memories of MV's and 40's-50's military aircraft sights and sounds.
There is nothing more refreshing than sound of a 5 Ton 6X6 winding up thru its gears while breaking the early morning silence, a couple F-86 Jets doing a formation takeoff, or the sound of a T-6 Texan excercising its prop overhead.
