Ah, Port Orphan! Nice Alan! Have you taken you jeep onto Paradise Beach? Last time I went there I nearly got my Dakota stuck!

Hmm...which states have the highest number of DEATHS?

Easy....probably the ones with the largest populations, right?

Since you asked.

Oh, and this data has been confirmed with data from the CDC figures. Note the totals of population. 103.1 mil vs 104.8 mil.

Those deaths by state, so far...

Let's all hope that this is all the nation sees. My fear is that we may be trying to brag about the score when it's still only the 1st half of what may be a long game.

That is awesome! There is a nice hiking trial up Humbug. I miss that area but I don't miss that lousy salt air.

Do you have the PERCENTAGE of deaths per 100,000 state-by-state?

Interesting way to put flags on your jeep Alan. Got a closer pic of those c clamps :?:

When I have put flags on my jeep for parades, I run the wooden holder down the channel that the door fits in. But that means I must use small flags.

I'm "getting ready" by communicating information on the virus that you might not see elsewhere and by explaining some of the scientific aspects. If that touches on politics, then it is because some of the decisions being made are by politicians. And many of those decisions were made with incomplete or inaccurate information and the decisions should be rescinded in light of new information. Raymond

Thank you very much for posting scientific information and topical articles that cannot be found in the Mainstream Media. Bill, thank you for keeping this thread open and letting Ray continue to post in this very informative and interesting thread. I'm having a great time in the peanut gallery, so please let the Covid-19 Games continue! :D

You're not doomed! Well, okay, maybe a little. ;)

Fred, this has been a great thread. :D

This kind of information is exactly what the MSM does not want out there. MSM is controlled by elitist who have a great deal to lose if they are outed. Common flu kills more each year than this media hyped COVID19 has killed. Just a few days ago a number of coroners from many different counties in different states confirmed the number of deaths due to COVID19 were being over exaggerated to make it look worse than it really is. They went so far to say that anyone who tested positive for COVID19 and died was being counted as a death due to COVID19. So, if I tested positive and died from a heart attack or ruptured spleen it would be counted as a death from COVID19. That is downright ludicrous. One death in particular was labeled COVID19 when the guy died from injuries from an automobile accident and tested positive! Doctors and hospitals are being paid thousands of dollars for positive diagnosis for it. Tests show positive results on pawpaws! WTAH?

Some are so brainwashed they cannot or will not even visit anything but the sky is falling and we're all going to die from this if we don't shut the country down, starve otherwise hard working people, bankrupt companies and destroy this wonderful country! And why? TDS is so bad they will stop at absolutely nothing to make him look bad.

Rant over!
okay, back to the Ray and Alan Show. ;)
Thanks!

This virus is shining a harsh light on who have, and who have not.

If I was some guy owning a tv/appliances store in Coos Bay that had to close as nonessential, and then I see folks carrying big screens out of the Costco store in Roseburg, I would be royally ticked.

Oregon has done very well considering the I5 corridor and Seattle/ SF struggles. Most everyone seems to take it seriously in my town.

The problem is only partly about the lockdown itself. It’s also about how capitalism is being unevenly implemented in this time of need.

Imagine if Jeff Bezos had offered to run his company at cost during this time of intense friction in commercial retail? Donate all profits to food banks? Walton family do something really big, perhaps? But no. Greed is good.

How did our last gilded age end up? Maybe this virus is just tiny locusts from God.
