Re: K-38
Gordon, I like your cable splice trailer. I looked at the before and after photos and I like your Tucker Snow Cat in the background even more. I know that it is not military issue but would love to see more photos of it, perhaps in the tracked section. What do you think? Dave.

Re: K-38
Hmm, maybe I should drag in the M-19 ski / wheel trailers - never thought of that.
Tucker did do military spec prototypes but not very successful. On the flip side they did sell a bunch of vanilla production models to Uncle Sam, particularly the Air Force.
I'll update this entry with some M19 stuff as that is a Towed accessory
regards

Turner soldering gun kit, absolutely complete except for the four sheets of flint paper - used once, by the look of it;

Re: K-38
I'll have to admit I weakened after posting that and ordered some American Flint Paper to pad that out to the full original listing.

The Test Set I-48 B is one of the component listed in the K38 tools kit:
1 MEGGER (3F3230), O-100-megohm, 500-volt, "Supper-Meg," James G. Biddle Co. #679, or equal

I know the TS-297/U wasn't in the K-38 but I'm sure it was WW2 period- in fact is the instruction book in my image not dated 1945? - not 100% sure.
That's a very nice kit you have, even cleaner than mine. I bought proper American flint paper for mine, so if you want to PM me your address I'll send you enough to complete your kit too.
