I am amazed when I see those howitzers. My father in law was in Merrill's Marauders they went into Burma Feb 24 1944. They had 2 Pack howitzers air dropped to them April 2 1944. It took 6 mules for each howitzer not including ammo. Up and down mountains no vehicles just Horses, mules and 2 feet issued per man
