1944 Stricker Bomb Trailer
My family has a 1944 Stricker Bomb Trailer. It has been exposed to the elements since the war but is in remarkably good condition, under the circumstances. It still has the hydraulic mechanisms and the grooved deck to hold bombs. I question whether there are any of these still in existence and it seems a shame if this one is not saved and restored. My family would like to find a museum that might preserve it or an individual who might restore it and make it available for public display. It is located in southern Wisconsin. I will try to attach photos:

Re: 1944 Stricker Bomb Trailer
I've never seen one before. There are several very good aviation museums and US Army Air Force reenacting groups across the country. I'm in West Virginia so I'm a bit far and my favorite museum is the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, so even further away. But I'm certain there is somebody we can connect you with who would restore and care for it. I know a guy with a Clark aircraft tug in, I think Michigan, it would be cool to see it towed behind that at events.

Thanks. There is an Air National Guard museum not far from me and I haven't contacted them yet but I suspect they are small and probably wouldn't be interested in something like this. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have.

There is a ground crew group in the southwest US that puts on some great displays. They may be willing to pay shipping if you wanted to donate it. I can dig up contact info if you'd like.
