12v windshield wipers

Post by ldj1002 » Thu May 05, 2022 12:29 pm

My Frankenstein jeep has been converted to 12v. The windshield wiper motor doesn't have any wires going to it I suppose they have been pulled out. So I don't have any idea if that windshield and wiper was on the jeep when it was converted. Trying to get it apart now and connect wire to see what happens. When people have converted to 12v what did they do with windshield wiper motor. Will that motor run on 12v, if so probable slow which would be ok. All I want to do is have them working for state so slow would be OK. any Ideas?

UPDATE I ask too soon. Took the 12v motor apart and it is no good, all corroded up. Now head scratching time about what to do.
