Cleaning FILs estate, need to sell his 71 AMC m151, no idea where to even begin.
Hi! This is probably the wrong place for this, but I’m really hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. My FIL bought this MUTT a few decades ago with the intentions to restore it but never did. https://imgur.com/gallery/4CI6FKP
We need to sell it and I have no idea what to even ask for it. No idea if it runs. It appears to be in pieces. I have no idea about any of it. Can anyone point me in the direction of the proper forum for this? I’m just learning now that it’s not even a Jeep like I thought it was. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Katie, we would be glad to help you if we can. First things first, we will need some pictures to try to determine the year (Or approximate year) and condition of the vehicle. And I will warn you right away that you will run into people that will offer you probably much less than it is worth and want to pay cash quickly. Try to hold off until we can establish exactly what you have and get an idea of what it is worth. Do you know if there is a title?

If there is a title we haven’t found it yet, we’re still going thru everything though

If it was registered in his name, DMV will have the vehicle title available and offer a replacement title for around $14 (at least here in Va.) on-line even...I bought one and had it in hand within a week for sale of an old Mercedes I had (then I found my original title )
