Recently replace seals and sleeved yolk on my M151 a2 I noticed there is a little play at the back shaft when I move the yoke up and down is this normal?

If I recall those output shafts are supported by ball brgs. which will have a very small amount as compared to a shaft supported by two tapered roller brgs. there is also some relative play between female yoke splines & male splines . assume you are talking radial play & not axial play ?
