Help with determining parts

Post by alexc23 » Fri Jan 29, 2021 6:59 pm

I recently acquired some parts that I thought was all for an M422, but after some feedback I have heard that half of my parts are actually for an M151

I have some photos of the parts and was curious if anyone would be able to lend their knowledge and eyes to help me determine which parts are M151.

If someone wants to help and a call is easiest, please direct message me and we can exchange numbers, I have more photos too.

I would really appreciate some help and looking forward to finally gaining some clarity on what parts I really have here.

Alex

Ok, I sent it to the e-mail you have listed. But anyway, all I see as far as 151 parts are three axles, a differential and what looks like a gutted transmission case.

Add to Rick's list,, an intake and exhaust manifold, two differentials, possibly rear drive shaft for m151 from what I see but I'm on a phone sized screen.

If you are talking about the second pic the long shaft is a slip joint shaft so not a 151 and the diffs are definitely not 151. the one 151 diff is in the last pic.

r
Rick, you're correct on the slip shaft It's been a long time not crawling under any of them and unitized body with center mounted differential doesn't need a slip joint DOH  .
The last pic has two differentials facing each other on the lower left hand corner,
For sure the bottom most one is MUTT, the one up from it looks to be identical, only reversed.
Better view on my Computer.

yupper, you are right on the diffs, I didn't see the second one snuck in there. Then again, I didn't see the manifolds either.
