M151A1 throttle return

Post by Kassiopijeep » Wed Jan 27, 2021 4:09 am

I recently purchased an X Greek army M151A1 in Athens Greece. Drove it across Greece to Corfu where i live a great trip.
I have just noticed that the throttle return spring is connected to the choke cable. I'm sure that's not right but i cant see where to connect it. Can anyone help

There should be a bracket that comes down from the bottom carburetor mount bolt and the return spring goes from the carb linkage to that bracket. I is nothing more than a bent and tapered flat piece of steel.

Thanks. I even have the bracket in a bag of spares.
