Post by 67N20 » Sat Oct 19, 2019 12:28 pm

I will need five new tires for a M151 with alloy wheels, where is a good place to get them near Toledo Ohio ? is there only one size ? Tubes ? tubeless ?
Thank you

The type tire that was OEM to M-151 is the 7.00 X 16 NDCC. NDCC has rounded edge. There is another military tread of that size, it is 7.00 X 16 NDT, they have square edge, you do not want that one. I do not have a supplier with best price in front of me. Check out "STA" Specialty Tires of America on ebay, they are the only manufacturer in USA.
The STA 7.00 X 16 NDCC is a dead ringer for the GI Issue Cooper NDCC.

I have bought ten of these in the past year; $172 each, from Summit Racing.

Make sure your inner tubes have the TR-15 Valve Stem, which is the only proper style stem used on the M-151, M-38, M-38A1 and MB Inner Tube.

As far as I know the early MUTT wheels take the same 7.00x16" NDCC tires.
