Temp gauge replace.?

Post by Gunbunny198 » Wed Jul 17, 2019 9:13 am

Is there any mechanical, (non electric) water temp gauge that would or can work on the 151, ie; thread size in the block work with any? If I can't get the electrical one to work I'd rather try something like that.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

It is a standard pipe thread so any mechanical gauge kit should work. Just make sure there is enough room in the hole for the length of the bulb on the sender, Sometimes they are a bit longer than the electric sending units, I am pretty sure there is plenty of room in there.

Rickf,

Much Thanks. I just look at the electric systems and see that one more thing that could go wrong. I definitely don't wanna over heat!
