So, we have another defacto expert. So mister expert, tell me, Do the Humvee and CUCV also not exist? Mighty Mite? Why don't you put some of your expert documentation on here to back up what you are saying? I can say I never heard them called MUTT when I was in in the very early 70's but I can tell you that I was involved with surplus equipment from 75 on and I heard them called MUTT on the military bases at that time. The reason I remember it was because it was a new phrase to me but the guy I worked for told me that they were called that for years. He had been buying surplus going back to before the M151 was even thought of. So when or who thought of it is debatable but it was a used term on military bases. Maybe not where you were and not where I was in Vietnam but it was used.
