Hi Ray,
Thanks for the comments,
The Jeep is indeed in Northern Greece. Its one of the last ones, build in May 1963 for USMC.
My S/N is 91397 and it rolled out as an M38A1C. It had all the last days characteristics as M151 Air Cleaner and Rubber Connectors on Harness. Deepwater fording characteristics were omitted and the data plates were ink stamped aluminum.
A great jeep altogether, at the moment I have put a back door and using it almost as a daily runner.

Re: M38A1 Photo in the paint Shop
Hello,
Those pictures of your jeep are fantastic !!
Your jeep looks as fresh as the day it was made, and I just noticed that you have a radio antenna mount that attaches to
the top of the spare tire holder.
My 1953 M38A1 had a mount there once, as well as a radio, mounted on the passenger side rear wheel well.
I just bought that type radio antenna mount from a fellow G503er to add back to my jeep.
One step at a time
Happy V-E Day to you and all in Greece !!!
Best Regards,
Ray
