Hi folks.
Apart from my recent purchase of a M151a2 I do own 2 other military vehicles, this is 1 of them, a 2004 Chevrolet Impala ex USAF Police car.

Re: Chevrolet Impala USAF Police csr
Good looking vehicle, one thing I'd check is that no rainwater leaks in. With the hood (bonnet) open there is a rubber strip up by the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side. After years of use the adhesive of the rubber starts to fail and the strip begins to fall off. When this happens rainwater can leak past and into the car where it will pool on the floorboard under the carpet. There's a wiring harness bundle that runs along that path which has the turn signal, speaker, etc wires, and when those get wet the connection corrodes and the connection is broken. I assume the intercepter models are the same anyway from year to year in that respect.
There may be some youtube videos about that rubber strip, but anyway you don't want to lose your turn signals or taillights.
