Hello,
Here is a great video featuring a British Army truck convoy across France.
It looks like they are driving some big, rare US origin trucks . ( Left Hand Drive )
A lot of very good, clear footage from mid 1944.
Note the Union Jack flag glued on the windshield of each truck, very interesting, and not seen
on currently restored British trucks.
It would be very nice to see more British flags on restored British vehicles today !!!!

Great footage; thanks for posting.
The big trucks are Mack NR 10ton 6x4 (round fenders) and Corbitt White (or Brockway) 6ton 6x6.
The reason that you don't see those Union jacks on todays restorations is probably due to their size....it is always a good idea to actually see out of your windscreen
They were probably only used on these (food) convoys as I don't recall seeing them anywhere else also.

Great video!! And what a painfully slow pace. But then again, the trucks weren't "Turnpike Flyers". Were they?!!
