WW2 Vehicle Marking at West Point. Images requested

Post by 17thAirborne » Fri Nov 11, 2016 2:21 pm

Does anyone have any images of ANY MV with bumper markings as seen during WW2 while stationed at West Point. I was curious as to how they marked the bumpers of vehicles used there during WW2. Please post them here if you would.

Thanks
Oz

I did find this. An image of Cadets at West Point practicing Jeep floating exercise circa 1941. No markings though. Nice early Jeep eh!

Best thing to do is contact the West Point Museum. The curators there love a good project.
And this is a good project. What a great question. Best of luck.
