My 62 M151

Post by Ambush151 » Fri Jun 03, 2022 1:53 pm

Haven't had much of a chance to do anything with this one. A retirement project which is getting closer.

1962 M151.

Most everything looks to be there. Not sure of the condition of motor and transmission but it'snot seized up at least.

Hello,

Welcome t the G !!!

Your jeep looks awesome and in great shape !!
When you start the restoration, make a restoration post here on the G, we all love seeing these jeeps restored here on the G :D :D :D .

That is a real nice arctic top for the jeep, I have never seen before.
Perfect for Alaska !!

Best Regards,
Ray

I have an NOS Swingfire gasoline arctic heater kit still packed in the three boxes made just for that setup you have. Let me know if you are interested in it.

Probably going to be a couple of years before I get to this project.

Rickf I don't intend to keep the hard top on it. I much prefer the canvas top Vietnam presentation but a neighbor down the road has a hardtop M151 and I'll check with him to see if interested.
