Finally finished my 718 restoration, 2 years in the making, still need to add spare tire, data plate, litters and splint kit. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Wow,
That is some great work.
I love those ambulances. Great attention to detail.
Very Nice.

Thanks Dave, it's been a fun project and not so fun at times, finding all the parts was the hardest part.

Re: M718A1 Restoration
I did a M38A1C, finding the parts was the hardest as you said, I got lucky as I found one guy who had some of the parts, but took the time over the years if he saw a part I needed he would contact me. He saved me so many times!
That jeep is nice, you did good!

Re: M718A1 Restoration
Thanks for the comment Frank, It was like that with me, had a couple people come through on parts after they realized I was actually building the jeep. I'm glad they finally felt sorry for me, there were a couple parts I didn't think I would find, next build will be something that has parts readily available.Frank USMC wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 4:02 amI did a M38A1C, finding the parts was the hardest as you said, I got lucky as I found one guy who had some of the parts, but took the time over the years if he saw a part I needed he would contact me.
