High School Parking Lot circa 1962
Found elsewhere.
Someone saw it and noticed the yellow Jeep in the center, its a G503 of some kind.

Great photo.
I know that "circa" means "about".
The car circled in red appears to be a 1963 Chevrolet, of course the new 1963 models would have debuted in the fall of 1962.

Someone said 1950s but I knew it was wrong, I used the 62 Ford on the left as a reference.
In reality, the odds of a high schooler having a brand-new car are slim, so it's probably mid-1960s.

How about a contest regarding that pic to 'name those cars'?
I see a Model A, Volvo, and Corvair....maybe a Bug-eyed Sprite too?

Yes it is a Frog (bug) eye Sprite and a Morgan I think. On the jeep you can see the missing toolbox lid so WW2 definitely.

Good to see someone made good use of his/her jeep.

Kind of cool some kid had a G503 as his ride in that place and time given all the options available to them.YLG80 wrote:A Google Image search with that picture returns: Burbank Senior High school, California, 1966.Fushigi Ojisan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 8:05 amFound elsewhere.

Such a great photo and some amazing vehicles.
I graduated from this school - Thought I noticed the road when I saw the photo! I wonder where that Jeep is now..?

ITs a WHOLE lot different if you drive through a student parking lot at a high school today..Especially a month before graduation when Mom and Dad have bought them all new very expensive cars.
