Came across this photo of a MB/GPW carrying the bumper markings of the 2nd Armored Division (maybe others can decipher the rest of the bumper markings). Don't know any other information about this photo but thought I would share an original jeep photo from WWII. Thought it was interesting to see the anti-decapitation bar off center and a unique way of affixing the mattock.

The Jeep belongs to the 66th Armored Regiment of the 2nd Armored Division, and it is a jeep of
the Service Company of the 66th Armored regiment. Their 59th jeep
The unit landed in North Africa and eventually landed in Normandy on June 9th, going all the way to Germany.

In addition to the wipers, there's the bridge plate with an interchangeable numeral, and a windshield-mounted inside rear view mirror. Interesting mods!
