That's an amazing story.
Albert, 72, from Huy in Belgium, has completely built a jeep from scratch during the Covid crisis, just to kill the time.
It took about 400 manhours to build that mini jeep, 85 cm or 33'' length or at scale 1:3.75.
Why that scale?
Just to adapt the model to the available wheels. During the strict confinement, there was no way to find other wheels.
There is a wheel, a gearbox, shocks, door straps etc ...
Albert is a real Jeeper and has already a real WWII Willys MB 1944.
Guess the name of the "officer" at the wheel : Lt-Col Corona
Here are a few photos of his amazing job.
Body not yet painted
Finished model
The real one and the model
Mini jeep on display... and will never be for sale according to the owner and his family.
Presentation in a local newspaper.
Here, if you browse his FB page, you can see that Albert is working on another model.

He is trying to find a dummy engine .
I would advise him to print correct tires and wheels in 3D. Should be easy.
