oil filter.

Post by Mark Jesic » Thu May 21, 2020 12:29 pm

I dare say this has come up before so my apologies. I have a slight leak on the top of my puralator oil filter casing. Does this mean i need a new copper washer or slightly tighten, or untighten the nut at the top. Some years ago on my other jeep i overtightened the nut, which resulted in oil dripping all over my engine. A right mess it was too. Advice would be greatly appreciated guys. :D

Order a new washer Mark ..😀 And try slightly tightning ....may stop the leak ... and then you'll have a spare washer for the future oil change ....
