Hi Martin,
Looking good! Only thing is that on a British vehicle you usually do not have the American shovel and axe fitted. Also probably no American antenna base.
If your GPW is before August 42 it would have rubber bonnet blocks as well. You can check the typical British jeeps here: http://www.britishjeep.com/how-to-recog ... -jeep.html and

Stay safe and enjoy jour jeep!

Nice jeep Martin, there are loads of U.K. jeep owners around, so you will never be on your own if there is a problem. Welcome aboard.

Hi Klaas
Thank you so much for your reply and helpful observations.
Will probably loose the antenna mount but keep the pic and shovel as I like the look and it appears from the links you sent me that it’s not totally out of the question for them to be there.
The delivery date of my jeep was September 42 so I should I guess be ok with the wooden bonnet blocks.
The links you’ve sent me are awesome; loads for me to soak up.
Thank you very much for your help

Thanks Mark
This seems like a great place to learn from , and I do have a lot to learn
Not sure weather most guys here are from the States or if it’s a mix ?
It’s nice to be able to “show” my jeep as such as there are no events to go to , haven’t had it long and I love it !!
Best wishes
Martin

Jeep looks great, I prefer it without a cover.
