Haven't posted in a while, so figured I start the New Year off with a post of my 45 GPW that I purchased from a PA farmer in 1979.
I personally restored and completed it in 1982.

Over the years I have been able to collect and add to the Jeep several nice accessories including: Original and working Braden J2 Capstan winch, Original Tandem Tow Bar and grill block, Original grill mounted overflow kit, 1944 Hull Compass and a few other assorted bits :)

Fortunately I was able to collect most of my parts and accessories back in the 80's before the prices got crazy!

Adding to the Jeep I restored a 44 MBT 1/4 Trailer and a 44 Converto 1/2 Ton Airborne Dump trailer.

The GPW shares a stable with a 1965 Mustang Convertible that I restored 10 years ago.

Looking forward to the spring to get my big boy toys out of the garage and back on the trial rides!

Hello Gary,

Wow !! What a nice Jeep !!!
Thanks for posting, you did a great job back in 82 :D :D :D

It looks like you have preserved it the way Jeeps should be taken care of, with indoor storage !!

Both you and the Jeep look well preserved,I can only imagine the nice parts and jeeps floating around still in
1982 .
Back in 1982, a WW2 71st Infantry Division Veteran has a restored Jeep in NH.
I remember looking at it and talking with him for a long time about it at a town fair.
It was beautiful, and about 6 + years ago I returned to the my town of Sanbornton, and saw the jeep in a shed.
I should have stopped and asked about it because when I went back a year later it was gone.

Keep posting pictures of your beautiful Jeep as you go on adventures with it and your trailers !!

Best Regards,
Ray
