Thank you for sharing the photos.
I have a photo of a pontoon bridge like that, taken by my father crossing the Rhein in bren carriers, early in 1945.
He was volunteer attached to the 3rd Army.

If you can post the picture. I am trying to find out more info on it. I believe it was purchased from surplus in 1980 plus or minus a few years.

You can find many photos of the Remagen Bridge on Internet, like this one.

There was another bridge like that between the Alsace and Germany.

And likely others built by the British army between Holland and Germany.
Do you know the scale of your model.
Would it fit with jeeps, trucks or tanks models? That would be a nice scenery.

These and similar Training Aids showed up with some regularity thru DRMO a number of years ago. I always wanted the one for the Bailey Bridge. The sets were packed in huge trunks. I crossed over the Chatahoochi at Ft Benning on a bridge like this.
