Wouuh, you've put G503 on fire with BB  :)!
In fact BB had an influence on the jeep market.
She was using the Mini Moke in St Tropez, the place to be seen :)!
The Mini Moke was a very nice concept like de Renault 4 Sinpar, the R4 Grandlin Dallas or the Citroën Mehari.
Based on the original Mini (British Leyland) , the Moke was initially designed by Sir Alec Issigonis as a military vehicle – a bit like a Willys Jeep.
However, with its tiny wheels and limited ground clearance, it couldn't quite cut it off-road, so the Moke was offered to customers as a cheap and cheerful beach buggy!
Using the same engine, gearbox and suspension as the Mini, the Moke's cheeky look and utilitarian feel meant it became hugely popular throughout the world, particularly in the Seychelles, Australia, the US as well as many tropical holiday destinations in the Caribbean.
Production ended in the early Nineties.
Hmmmmm "a bit like a Willys Jeep" ????

There are several photos of BB in her Mini Moke.

Really interesting photos of the Mini moke Yves, there are a few of those left in Australia and Cyprus, and of course England. The ones i see over here are really well looked after, and they command serious money. I still think BB looks more at home in a jeep though.

That photo in the jeep had to be taken in the 1950’s as she was born in 1934 in Paris. Her bio says nothing about wartime, she did ballet and modeling as a teenager.
